In Salts & Qualitative Analysis Mastery Workshop, students will learn:
SALTS:
- Strategies to understand & remember the Solubility for Common Salts
- 4-Steps strategy to determine which Preparation Method to choose from 1) Titration, 2) Acids + Excess Insoluble Substances & 3) Precipitation
- Describe the techniques used in the preparation, separation & purification of a given salt from suitable starting materials
QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS:
- How to use aqueous sodium hydroxide and aqueous ammonia to identify a list of Cations
- How to describe tests to identify a list of Anions
- How to describe tests to identify a list of Gases
- How to link Qualitative Analysis Theories to Chemistry Practicals & SPA
