Hear what the parents say:

“Hi Sean, just want to say a BEEG thank you being an inspiring teacher. Your passion for Chemistry & dedication in teaching are a great motivation & inspiration to your students. You do not choose only the ‘A’ grade students but inspire them to be. Because of your help, Tim (Timothy) improved his Chemistry and was able to spend more time brushing up other subjects. Thanks! Rgds, Mrs Ho”
Mrs Ho, Parent of Timothy Ho, Gan Eng Seng School, A2 (2009 O Levels)

“Hi Sean. Would like to share about Zamann’s results. He got a B3 for Chemistry. Thank you very much for your guidance. From Mid-Year (F9) –> Prelims (C5) –> B3 (O Levels 2009) in just 3 months! Without your guidance, he will not be where he is now. He is eligible for JC and Poly. I sure will recommend you & Winners Education Group to others! =)”
Suhana, Parent of Khairuzamann, Temasek Secondary School, B3 (2009 O Levels)

How students find the weekly course:

Flip-charts are very helpful with regards to recall of concepts. The workshop was very effective. Mr Chua was very clear and concise in his explanations of Chemistry Concepts, especially helpful with the Equation Writing & Mole Calculations. Mr Chua has made Chemistry easier to understand with his analogies and more concrete/logical reasoning in chemistry questions. Overall, it was a very conducive and productive use of time.

Thank you Mr Chua. Your coaching helped immensely!”
Lee Jiayu Sherri, Methodist Girl’s School, F9 (Sec 3 EOY) to A1 (O Levels 2009)

“This programme has helped me to improve in my Chemistry grades. It is more fun and interactive than other programmes (tuition). I experienced a greater understanding of Chemistry Concepts after attending this programme. I would recommend this programme to everyone! =)”
Ivan Toh, ACS (Independent), F9 (Mid-Year) to A2 (O Levels 2009) in 3 months

“This revision class has made me more confident of Chemistry, as any doubts I had previously for the various topics are usually clarified, especially in any areas regarding concepts as well as applying them. We are exposed to frequent misconceptions in answering (made by other students) to ensure that we would not make those misconceptions in our answers. This I feel would give us the upper hand when tackling similar questions. This revision class in a nutshell, is a great way to refresh our memory on the Chemistry Concepts learnt for the past 2 years in school.”
Vivienne Tay, Holy Innocents’ High School, E8 (Mid-Year) to A2 (O Levels 2009) in 3 months

“Sean has made it possible for me to understand certain Chemistry Concepts much better. There are several fundamentals that he insists on me knowing it, that i initially thought of skipping. His analogies and ways of relating chemistry to everyday life is very apt and makes it easier for me to grasp the concepts. With a good grasp of the fundamental concepts, it was so much easier for me to tackle other tough chapters like Acids, Bases & Salts, Electrolysis, Mole Concepts and Chemical Analysis. Appreciate your help Sean! I would highly recommend Sean to you, especially you face problems in understanding those Chemistry Concepts, cos he makes it so simple to relate to. ”
Cheney Wong, St Andrew Sch, D7 (Mid-year) to A1 (O Levels 2007) in 3 months

“They have all improved….

How about you?”

“This programme has given me a better, in-depth understanding of Chemistry. It has filled up the gaps of what the school left, so that I may feel more confident for my GCE ‘O’ Level Chemistry papers. Sean is able to keep us attentive at all times and always answers our questions, however shallow or profound they may be. He treats us like friends, allowing us to enjoy our classes and feel more confident to speak up when in doubt. In all, I feel no regrets in signing up for this Chemistry weekly class as it has benefited me greatly and I fully recommend this class to future students as I am sure they too will benefit from it!”

“This programme has benefited me a lot. Unlike a normal tuition where it is generally boring and not very useful, this Chemistry weekly programme taught by Mr Sean Chua, is very interesting and fun. And at the same time, we are able to learn a lot. His cheerful yet down to earth character makes me want to come to his chemistry classes every sunday. The notes given are very useful. The programme has not only helped me improve my grades but also made me very interested in the subject of Chemistry. Thank you! =)”
Vasudev Trivedi, ACS (Independent), A2 (O Levels 2009)

“Interesting Course! Very good recap on school work and acts as a form of revision so that I don’t have to study Chemistry outside of school. Sean knows how to teach well and can give a very immediate and comprehensive view on many Chemistry queries. He helps by being enthusiatic in answering questions, helping me to spark my interest in Chemistry. Thank you Sean!”
Winston Lee, ACS (Barker), A1 (O Levels 2009)

“This programme has really boosted my knowledge from knowing nothing to knowing almost EVERYTHING! It has increased my confidence greatly. The programme has kept my interest all the way unlike other tuition programmes. I would wish that all my friends had attended this course and do well.

Thanks so much for your help. I really improved & enjoyed Chemistry now!”
Frederick Choo, St. Joseph’s Institution, F9 (Mid-Year) to B3 (O Levels 2009) in 2 months

“I have greatly increased in my knowledge of Chemistry Concepts through this course. My results for the subject has really improved from this course and it has helped me a lot. I think this course is different in that it is a class-based small group interactive environment and we learn much more concepts than I learned in school. I would recommend this course to any of my friends who will be taking GCE ‘O’ Levels in the coming years.”
Joshua Ho Zhi-Ming, ACS (Barker), C6 (Mid-Year) to A2 (O Levels 2009)
