Winners Experience!
Huge thanks and great efforts from Mr Sean Chua, my son had achieved A1 for his O level pure Chemistry within a short 5-months period (from a E8 in WA2). Engaged with Mr Chua only in end May and thru detailed crafted program Mr Chua had corrected my son wrong study methods. My son could understand and apply the concepts more effectively. Highly recommended for students who need help in their Chem subject to join Mr Sean Chua’s program.
Before joining Winner’s Education, my son barely understood Chemistry and scored only a C6 in his Sec 3 EOY, despite putting in a lot of effort and one-on-one home tuition.
After enrolling in Winner’s Chemistry classes with Mr. Chua, he improved by leaps and bounds. He started enjoying the subject—even tough topics like Organic Chemistry became a breeze. Mr. Chua emphasizes deep understanding over rote memorization, using first-class teaching methods that make Chemistry fun and accessible. I noticed my son was no longer stressed by it, increased in confidence, spent very little time revising outside class, and still achieved an A1.
In fact, he only attended Mr. Chua's classes, did Mr Chua’s weekly assignments (takes only 10-15 mins to do each assignment), and practiced TYS—and that was enough for an A1. No additional textbooks, guidebooks, assessment books, school materials or prelim papers from other schools were needed; Mr Chua’s notes, assignments and TYS (answers written by Mr Chua) cover everything required for O Levels. As my son puts it, Mr. Chua’s approach is all about understanding, not memorizing. Mr. Chua’s methods significantly reduced the time my son spent revising Chemistry and removed A LOT of stress from O-Level exam preparation, freeing up time for him to focus on other memory-heavy subjects like history.
Best of all, it wasn’t just about the A1 — it was a huge relief to see my son genuinely enjoy Chemistry, free from stress, and develop a solid grasp of it. If you need help with Chemistry, look no further — Mr. Chua is the best Chemistry teacher!

I’m really thankful to Mr Chua from Winners Education for completely changing the way I see Chemistry. I went from a C6 in my Sec 3 EOYs to an A1 in O-Level Chemistry, and I also gained interest in the subject along the way. Mr Chua’s teaching is very clear and easy to understand. He focuses on understanding instead of memorising, so Chemistry doesn’t feel like a subject you need to mug for. His notes are so well-organised and his explanations are so clear that I barely had to study much outside of class, everything just made sense. He also uses simple analogies to explain difficult concepts, which really helped me remember and apply what I learned during exams. Because of his teaching, Chemistry became much less stressful and even somewhat enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mr Chua and Winners Education to anyone who wants to truly understand Chemistry and improve their results.
Before joining winners, I always got C6-F9 for chemistry and I struggled to grasp the basic concepts. After starting, i was able to understand the topics I found difficult and slowly improved. The workshops nearer to the end were most helpful and I was confident to be able to do well for the o levels. I got A2 for my chemistry and I am thankful for the support from Mr Sean as he puts in the effort to create effective notes for revision and self study.
My childr didn't receive tutoring in Secondary 1 or Secondary 2; she's left to explore learning on her own. As a result, her chemistry exam score is quite poor—likely around an F6. Although my gal wanted to work hard, she didn’t know the right approach. After enrolling her in Mr. Chua’s tutoring class, it was like a sponge meeting water—she quickly absorbed knowledge, and her grade soared like a rocket, rapidly climbing to an A. So, if your child is struggling to find the right method in learning chemistry and wants to get on the fast track, this is a great choice.
i was getting d7 for chemistry in secondary 2 and realised that i needed intervention. after finding out about winners through my older brother, i promptly signed up for winners secondary 3 class. i attended winners for 2 years and mr chua's classes have provided me with more than sufficient guidance and support that i needed to ace chemistry. the notes provided were succinct and easy for me to understand. mr chua was also very easy to contact and i could clarity my doubts with him anytime. i enjoyed how mr chua made use of mnemonic devices, making it easier for me to recall information. from achieving a stagnant d7 for chemistry in secondary 2, my grades improved to a b4 in upper secondary and to a b3 for my prelims. finally i was able to achieve an a1 in chemistry for my recent o levels. thanks mr chua 🙂
Joining Winners Education made learning chemistry so much easier and fun for me. Mr Chua breaks down concepts so it’s easier to understand. I also have to memorise lesser, since I understand the concepts more thoroughly. Mr Chua also makes lessons very engaging and interesting! Winners ed not only helped me to maintain my A2 in chem but also helped me to enjoy the process of learning chem 🙂
Thank you for coaching the students with fervor and passion.
My son started with Winners Education under Mr Chua after his first Weighted Assessment in secondary school, where he scored a C6 for Pure Chemistry—just a borderline pass. With Mr Chua’s guidance and clear explanations, his confidence and understanding steadily improved. He collected his O-Level results today with an A2 for Pure Chemistry. This remarkable improvement was achieved within just 9 months. I am grateful for the positive impact Mr Chua and Winners Education have made on his learning journey.
My son joined at the start of Sec 3 Term 4 (12 weeks before SA2 exam) with a D7 for his Chemistry SA1 exam. The transformation in just 12 lessons has been incredible—he achieved a B4 in his SA2 exam!
What impressed me most is his feedback on Mr. Chua’s teaching. When I ask if anyone raises questions in Mr Chua’s class, he says there’s no need because Mr. Chua explains everything so explicitly and clearly from the start.
The best part is seeing his confidence return—he went from being completely lost in school to being able to confidently participate in lessons. Thank you, Mr. Chua, for the amazing breakthrough!

before joining winners education, i had difficulty answering questions as i was not very familiar with what important keywords to use / look out for and i could not understand concepts well which resulted in me blindly memorising my notes. after getting a b4 for my wa1, i joined winners education. mr chua has helped me build a strong foundation by emphasising and repeatedly going through basic concepts which i can understand now with ease. i managed to achieve an a1 for my eoy examinations. thank you mr chua for the support!
Winners is truly amazing! I was initially struggling with my chemistry throughout secondary 3, scoring either just pass c6s or even d7s. I realised that my general understanding of the concepts in chemistry were severely lacking and hence I saught winners education. Through Mr chua's patient and effective teaching, it made me understand and learn the concepts much better than before, improving my chemistry by leaps and bounds, all the way to an A2 in my prelims!! Thank you Mr chua and winners!!
Mr Chua is an amazing teacher! Since secondary one, I had failed almost every chemistry exam. After getting D7 for about three times in a row, I went to Winners Education to turn my results around. I’m just two months, I went from a failing grade to B3! I cannot thank Mr Chua enough for his guidance and his amazing way of teaching such as starting slowly with the basics and building the foundation for us students!
Before joining Winners, I thought I would never do well for Chemistry as I seemed to be exceptionally weak in science subjects. I got D7 for my very first WA and then F9 for WA2. Around that period, my mother signed me up for Winners. Mr Chua is able to break down every topic and explain everything in great clarity, which truly helped my understanding. I stopped memorizing what was taught to me and instead begin to truly understand the subject, which helped me greatly. Slowly, I began to improve, finally getting A in sec 4, a year after I began, something I never thought I would achieve. He's a very good teacher who never gave up on me and always answered any question I had, making sure I understood the topic at hand. He encourages our participation in class, and even if we're wrong, he'll never shoot us down. Through his guidance, I've improved significantly and I recommend anyone who is struggling with chemistry, anyone who thought they cannot do well in this subject, to join. It will be a shocker what you can achieve under him with a little hard work.
About seven years ago, I first heard about Winners education and Mr Chua’s effective teaching methods through my friend. My son and daughter attended his JC level Chemistry Tution and both scored very well in A levels. Their dedication in clarifying questions asked really helped my children to be passionate in Chemistry. Timely Feedback provided by the centre to parents helped me to step in where my daughter need help. I would certainly recommend Winners for Chemistry Tution.
Mr Chua has a structured and patient approach to his teaching. His engaging lessons and comprehensive notes helped me grasp complex Chemistry concepts, improving my understanding and grades. With his support, I improved greatly. Thank you Mr Chua!
I was struggling with H2 Chemistry in JC1 as my physical chemistry foundation was not strong. I barely passed my first few tests in J1 and found it very challenging to understand school lectures given the fast pace. I joined Mr Chua’s class where he places strong emphasis on building solid foundation for concepts and not by memorising. I also had an enjoyable experience in his classes which were interactive and engaging. I eventually got my A for A levels. Thank you Mr Chua for your guidance!
Mr Chua is a patient and dedicated teacher who always prioritises on ensuring that our basic foundations are strong before tackling challenging questions. His workshops helped me to revise the key concepts and answering techniques for each topic which made me more prepared for my Alevels.
I joined Winners before A levels as I was struggling with understanding Chemistry. I thought it was too late for me. However upon joining, Mr Chua's extensive notes and well structured lessons helped me understand chemistry much better. He is a patient teacher who will give comprehensive explanations to all my questions. The centre also conducts additional lessons to assist my learning before examinations. Under Mr Chua's guidance and unwavering determination, my grades improved from a U in prelims to a B in A levels in 3 months! If you are looking for a centre that is serious about pulling up grades, this is the place for you. Thank you Mr Chua
Prior to joining Winners in secondary 3, I struggled with understanding the concepts taught in school and scored E8s for my WA tests. Through Mr Chua’s guidance, I was able to score A1 for O Levels. Through attending Mr Chua’s lessons, his clear explanations helped me understand key concepts easily and I was able to apply these ideas through the many effective practice questions he set for us. His passion and energy made me look forward to attending his lessons, and ultimately sparked my love for Chemistry. Thank you Mr Chua!
Sean is very enthusiastic and very patient with every single one of his students, and definitely knows what he is doing when teaching. Most importantly, he is able to help students find joy in studying and fall in love with the subject. Would definitely recommend if looking to improve chemistry!
